Scorers

Scoring is essential for cricket matches. Good scorers know a lot. Two scorers will usually be present in cricket matches. One for each side. These scorers collect the scores based upon signals from their umpires. These scorers should be familiar with the rules of the game, and they must also be able differentiate between a batsman’s innings and a baller's over.

Bowlers

A bowler plays an important part in a cricket match. They are the ones that deliver the cricket balls to the batsmen. They are never off the field. They can only change their bowling habits if the captain has directed them. These actions can be modified for tactical reasons and rest.

Fielders

In a cricket match, fielders play an important part. They are responsible to stop the ball before it reaches the stump of the batter. There are many different types of fielders. For instance, the wicket-keeper fielder is required to catch every ball that is hit towards his/her stumps.

Test match

Two teams of cricketers play test matches. They are played in a series, usually of two or four matches, but occasionally, they can last five. Each team is allowed to bat only for a specified period. The last team to bat must have scored more than their opponent's totals in both innings.
